Videocast with NetCastNow

Following the success of our Podcast Like A Pro courses during 2005, we're now starting Video podcasting courses.

Whether you want to be a star on YouTube, start your own Vlog, or create good video for your own webpages, this is how you can save time, effort and money while making a great impression.

NetCastNow will be offering some all day Saturday courses during January, conducted at the NSW Writers Centre in Rozelle. The course will take approximately six hours, with an hour for breaks and meeting your fellow participants.

Video Podcasting - Course outline.

The potential of video on the web

We outline some video success stories – what's worked on the net so far – for example, Tikibar TV, Rocketboom, Evolution of Dance, and Monday9am.

We discuss some of the platforms available for people wishing to publish video on the internet. We explain video podcasting, YouTube, Google Video, Nice Shorts, video podcasting or ancient technology like DVD.

Which is the best choice for you?

What equipment do you need to create good video for the net?

We outline the varieties of camera, sound, and computer software you can use.

We will give an overview of the best ways to use the equipment that you have.

We will also be offering tips on the things to look out for if you are investing in some affordable (or not so affordable) equipment. This includes: tripods, batteries, cabled microphones and radio mics.
